Tim Scott is a partner in Deloitte’s Risk Advisory practice and is the National Leader for Automotive Dealership Services at Deloitte Canada. Tim’s passion for automotive retail has been with him since he was a kid watching his grandfather run the family dealership in London, Ontario. Today, Tim stay’s abreast of industry, auto manufacturer, and dealership challenges when catching up with his brother-in-law who runs the family dealership near Kingston, Ontario.
Tim advises automotive dealer groups and OEM clients on performance enhancement and compliance strategies and customer experience. With over 25 years of experience serving clients across multiple industries his primary focus is helping companies improve their business operations related to enterprise risk management and contract value capture.
Having worked in the United Kingdom’s media environment for over 15 years, across both publishing and ad tech, Jim brings a unique blend of experience to TRADER’s National Sales Division. Starting his career in some of the largest UK-based publishing houses, including Future PLC and Haymarket.
Jim believes in the value of audiences within vertical markets and the power of a digital marketplace. Jim’s focus at TRADER has been to broaden the access to autoTRADER.ca’s six million users through strategic investments in their programmatic stack, insight and analytics tools, and highly engaging, branded content.
As the Vice President of Business Intelligence at TRADER Corporation, Venky Rajaraman oversees the Data and Business Intelligence initiatives across the company, building insight driven tools for our customers and internal stakeholders.
Prior to joining TRADER, Venky worked at the Bank of Montreal for ten years, where he led various initiatives across several lines of business, including Personal & Commercial, Capital Markets, and led the Enterprise Data Warehouse team. Venky has a Masters in Chemical Engineering from Bucknell University.
As Chief Strategy and Business Development Officer, Edwin is responsible for exploring and executing on partnerships and acquisitions that facilitate future growth streams for the business. Edwin joined TRADER in 2011 as Vice President of Product and was later promoted to Chief Product Officer.
Prior to joining TRADER, Edwin was responsible for user experience on AutoTrader.co.uk, Europe’s largest automotive marketplace. He has worked as an online specialist since 1999, and has experience in senior roles in several online disciplines, including User Experience, Product Development, Analytics, Ad Operations and Marketing in both e-commerce and media sectors in Canada, the UK and the US.
